Odyssey Development Seeking CFO/Controller

The Strategic Resources Group is currently helping Odyssey Development of Duluth, Minnesota recruit a CFO/Controller. This position reports directly to the CEO.

 

In this position, you will be working directly with the COO and property managers and have a key role in the strategic initiatives of the company. Direct reports include: accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting. The person taking on this responsibility must have substantial knowledge in all aspects of financial management and accounting. They will be responsible for multiple company financial statements, working with non-profit associations and have a significant role in helping all of the operating groups understand the financial plans and results of their respective organizations.

 

The position is autonomous, so the applicant needs to be self-motivated and skilled in managing multiple deadlines and priorities while ensuring that the day-to-day activities are being completed in a timely and accurate manner. There is a strong preference for a CPA and a minimum of seven year of professional experience is required. The pay and benefits for the position are competitive and as Odyssey Development continues to grow the opportunities for the successful applicant will also grow. The Minnesota Cup is an annual, statewide competition that seeks out aspiring entrepreneurs and their breakthrough ideas. We are looking for the next great entrepreneurial success story in our state.
