St. Luke’s among top performing hospitals for heart attack patients

St. Luke’s has earned the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR ACTION Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2018. It is one of only 203 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

“St. Luke’s is very proud of this achievement. The award reflects the commitment and success of staff in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients,” St. Luke’s Cardiovascular Services Coordinator Stan Sadenwasser said. “It signifies that St. Luke’s has established a culture of providing guideline-recommended therapy, and is saving and improving outcomes for heart attack patients.”
