$42,000 Needed for Joe Gomer Statue in Duluth Airport

Northland veterans and community members announce plans to build a bronze statue in honor of Tuskegee Airmen Joe Gomer. Building the statue from start to finish will cost $42,000. It will stand three feet tall and be housed at the new Duluth International Airport. Some money has been contributed and fundraising efforts are underway to start the project as soon as possible.
