AAR expands training partnership with LSC

AAR — a firm that operates a maintenance, repair and overhaul facility for commercial aircraft in Duluth — announced Thursday it will expand its partnership with Lake Superior College, in an effort to bring more skilled workers into its ranks.

Students who earn Federal Aviation Administration aircraft mechanic’s certificates through the school’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Program could be eligible to receive tuition reimbursements as large as $15,000. AAR also will offer students job shadowing and mentorship opportunities.
