APEX Insider Event Featured Monaco Air Duluth

On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, APEX investor-members attended a private tour of Monaco Air Duluth’s newly expanded facility at the latest APEX Insider event. Monaco Air Duluth nearly tripled their footprint at Duluth International Airport and is well-positioned to increase international flight traffic to the world-class facility for service and maintenance.

With the expansion, Monaco Air Duluth added 9,600 square feet to their original 4,000 square foot terminal space. The nearly 14,000 square foot-facility allows the first-class, full-service fixed base operator (FBO) the ability to provide a variety of enhanced and concierge services to the general aviation visitors and tenants, the airlines serving Duluth, Cirrus, FedEx, AAR and others. Some of Monaco Air Duluth’s services include fueling, deicing, maintenance, customs clearance and hangar rentals.

At the event, APEX investor-members were greeted by Brian Hanson, APEX President and CEO, and were given an exclusive tour of the expanded facility by Mike Magni, President of Monaco Air Duluth, and Monaco Air staff. Magni also provided a history of their engagement in the Duluth community and commended APEX for their work in the aviation sector.

The expanded facility has allowed Monaco Air Duluth to transform beyond a typical FBO. Comfortable lounges, large and small conference spaces, dining opportunities and fitness spaces will ensure a unique, luxury experience for clients.
