Allete Adds more North Dakota wind power

Allete Clean Energy will expand its North Dakota wind-generating capacity in 2018 with the addition of up to 16 new wind turbines at its Thunder Spirit wind farm.

Allete announced Tuesday that it will add the new wind generators to increase capacity from 43 turbines generating about 107 megawatts up to 59 turbines generating about 150 megawatts.
