The Right Resources for Entrepreneurs

Lt. Gov. Tina Smith stopped in Duluth in February to talk about #InnovateMN, a campaign that aims to grow the state's economy with targeted investments in education, research, broadband, and business.

The State of Minnesota invited APEX to host and coordinate the open forum, which included roundtable discussions with local leaders in business and higher education. In addition to spotlighting the state’s startup companies and strengths in innovation, #InnovateMN is highlighting Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) resources for entrepreneurial Minnesotans.

"One of the biggest challenges we have is great entrepreneurs with great ideas who really struggle to get the seed capital, the working capital to get their businesses off the ground," Smith said.
