LSC team wins Community Service Gold at State SkillsUSA competition

The Lake Superior College Integrated Manufacturing student team of Kathleen Crooks, Michael Decaprio, and Nicole Okstad won first place gold in the Community Service category at the SkillsUSA Minnesota Championships in Bloomington for their community service project, "A Soldier's Love" sculpture, created to help veterans by raising funds for assistance dogs. The team will move on to compete at the SkillsUSA Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky June 19-23.
