Earth Rider Brewery Announces Superior Location

It has been 50 years since Superior was home to a functional brewery when Northern Brewing Company shuttered doors in 1967. Industry veteran, Tim Nelson, and his team of decorated brewers plan to change that with the addition of Earth Rider Brewery. The $2 million project includes renovations to the Cedar Lounge and the adjacent Leamon Mercantile Building, which will house the 10,000-square-foot brewery and a 5,500-square-foot office/retail area.

Along with several partners, APEX assisted the Earth Rider Brewing team. “Sharing our grant writing expertise was valuable for our partners and the ownership team. Understanding the redevelopment goals of the Community Development Investment Grant Program helped us make the case for this investment” stated Hanson. “We look forward to the construction of the brewery and watching how this ‘gateway’ project contributes to the transformation of Superior’s North End.”
