APEX holds annual meeting, elects board

The Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX) hosted its annual Board of Directors and investor-member meeting Jan. 25, which featured guest speaker LaMarr Barnes, CEO of U.S. Water Services, Inc., a division of ALLETE Inc.He addressed the interconnection of water and industry in our region and the importance of understanding and managing water in a sustainable way, APEX said in its annual report, released Thursday.
