Brian Thun

Brian Thun is the senior vice president and chief financial officer at maurices and has been with the company for more than 20 years.  Brian has been in his current role since 2012 after holding the position of vice president, controller for the previous eight years.

Brian oversees all financial functions for the maurices brand, including financial planning, inventory systems and real estate accounting and analysis. He also has responsibilities for store payroll planning and reporting, legal, and purchasing.

Prior to joining the maurices team, Brian worked in public accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from St. Cloud State University and is a CPA.  Brian serves on the Duluth Chamber and Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX) boards.  He and his wife, Betsy, have two children, Stephanie and Katie.
