LSC Receives $1.12 Million Federal Grant to Coordinate Regional Education Opportunity Careers

A five-year $1.12 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education will provide community members in St. Louis, Douglas and Carlton counties free access to services designed to help them reach a better life through college training and education.

Lake Superior College is the only college in northern Minnesota to receive this funding and is the only institution in the seven-state region to receive federal funding to establish new Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC).
