UMD's Schokker Honored by Publication

Professor Andrea Schokker, department of Civil Engineering in the Swenson College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth, is a recipient of the INSIGHT into Diversity 2016 Inspiring Women in STEM Award.

Dr. Shokker is featured in INSIGHT's September issue, which said, in part, "Schokker's ability to build consensus among groups with different viewpoints, coupled with her ability to engage young people without intimidating them, makes her and excellent mentor to faculty and students alike."
