Zimmerman and Benolken of Itasca Economic Development Corp. Receive Certifications

Mark Zimmerman and Shannon Benolken of the Itasca Economic Development Corp. received certifications as Economic Development Finance Professionals from the National Development Council.

The certification is given to people successfully completing an intensive economic development finance training series conducted by NDC. Courses provide training in credit analysis, real estate financing, loan packaging, deal structuring and negotiating, and creation and implementation of development programs.

Zimmerman is president and CEO of IEDC, while Benolken is the company's director of business development.
