UCare recognizes quality care at Essentia Health clinics

Ucare, an independent non-profit health plan, has recognized Essentia Health care teams at 24 clinics for delivering high-quality care. UCare provides care and services to more than 500,000 members in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The awards earned are in UCare’s 2014 Pay for Performance (P4P) program, which focuses on providing high-quality preventive care to patients.
“Quality is one of UCare’s key values,” UCare Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Russ Kuzel says. “We greatly value the high-quality care Essentia Health delivers every day and we are pleased to honor their outstanding efforts to help our members of all ages and cultures get and stay well.”
UCare honored Essentia’s clinics for Medicaid Overall Performance/Quality of Care.
