Thursday, July 16, 2015
The College of St. Scholastica is on Money magazine’s list of top colleges, with a ranking that jumped nearly 200 spots in the past year.
Out of the 736 colleges that made Money’s Best Colleges list for 2015-16, St. Scholastica is at no. 295. The ranking methodology examines the nation’s roughly 1,500 four-year colleges and takes into account 21 factors in three categories: quality of education, affordability, and outcomes (alumni earnings). Last year, St. Scholastica came in at no. 471.
“We're grateful for this recognition of our strong graduation rates, our high-quality education, our commitment to affordability and financial aid, and the success of our graduates,” said Beth Domholdt, St. Scholastica’s vice president for academic affairs.
