Essentia Health Vascular & Interventional radiologist re-elected to national medical board

Essentia Health Vascular and Interventional Radiologist Dr. Gregory Snyder was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards. Dr. Snyder will serve a three-year term.

Established in 1912, the Federation of State Medical Boards leads by promoting excellence in medical practice, licensure and regulation. It serves as the national resource and voice on behalf of state medical boards in their protection of the public.

“Being re-elected to the board of directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards is an incredible honor. Since serving as the president of the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, I have been involved with medical regulation on the national level,” said Dr. Snyder. “It is some of the most important work I’ve done with my medical license and I am fortunate and grateful to continue to be allowed to serve as leadership in this capacity.”
