Duluth-based business recruiter APEX named its 2017 executive committee and received a dose of economic optimism during its annual board and investor-member meeting Jan. 26 at the Kitchi Gammi Club.
"After nearly 10 years of subpar economic growth, we've seen significant movement in the marketplace," said John R. Elmore, vice chair of Community Banking and Branch Delivery at U.S. Bank. "Consumer confidence is nearly at an all-time high, so we are seeing incredible opportunities for business growth in Minnesota."
Elmore said Minnesota ranks third out of the 25 most optimistic states in U.S. Bank's territory.
