Intermodal terminal in the works for Duluth port

Plenty of cargo containers ride the rails through town every day, but a proposed terminal at the Port of Duluth-Superior is looking to capture some of that traffic.

Canadian National Railway and Duluth Cargo Connect — a partnership between the public Duluth Seaway Port Authority and the private Lake Superior Warehousing — are reportedly working on bringing the shipping container business to the Clure Public Marine Terminal, according to the American Journal of Transportation.
