Runway 9/27 reconstruction work at Duluth International Airport will begin Monday. The reconstruction work will include approximately 2,000 feet of the west end of the runway, leaving 7,000 feet of usable remaining runway length. This will allow commercial and general aviation flights to operate as scheduled.

Once the west end runway work is near completion, work will begin on the middle 6,200 feet of runway 9/27 and is anticipated to begin on or around Labor Day.
