Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center once again is highly ranked in the U.S. News and World Report’s annual list of best hospitals.

?St. Mary’s is ranked fifth out of 139 Minnesota hospitals and is tops in the northeastern part of the state.

In addition to the overall ranking, St. Mary’s was rated “high performing” — scoring five out of five and achieving patient outcomes significantly better than the national average — in 12 procedures and conditions.
